Refund policy

Effective August 10, 2026

This Refund and Return Policy applies to eligible Swim Hair Splash Caps purchased directly from Swim Hair LLC unless a different written policy was disclosed for a particular sale or applicable law requires a different result.

30-Day Return Period

An eligible Swim Hair Splash Cap may be returned within 30 calendar days after delivery if the product is unworn, unused, unaltered, and in its original condition. The return request must be initiated within the 30-day period.

Hygiene and Wearable Product Condition

Because the Swim Hair Splash Cap is a wearable product placed on the head and includes attached synthetic hair, Swim Hair LLC does not accept voluntary returns of products that have been worn or used. Customers should inspect fit, color, construction, hair length, and overall condition before wearing, using, cutting, heat styling, or otherwise altering the product. If the hair appears too long for safe use, the customer should either return the product unused under the applicable voluntary return policy or have a responsible adult shorten the hair before use, understanding that cutting is a permanent alteration and ends eligibility for the voluntary change-of-mind return and 30-Day Unworn Product Guarantee.

Eligible Returns

     
  • The return is requested within 30 calendar days after delivery.
    •  
  • The cap has not been worn or used.
    •  
  • The product has not been used in a pool, ocean, lake, bath, splash pad, waterpark, or other water setting.
    •  
  • The cap and attached hair are clean and free of stains, odors, cosmetics, hair products, chlorine, saltwater, or other signs of use.
    •  
  • The attached hair has not been cut, colored, washed, chemically treated, heat-styled, braided, restyled, or otherwise altered.
    •  
  • The product has not been damaged after delivery.
    •  
  • All original components are included and the product is returned in its original condition.
    •  
  • Proof of purchase can be provided when reasonably requested.

Non-Returnable Items Under the Voluntary Policy

     
  • Worn or used Swim Hair Splash Caps.
    •  
  • Products that have been used in water.
    •  
  • Products that have been washed, altered, cut, colored, styled, chemically treated, or damaged after delivery.
    •  
  • Products with stains, odors, cosmetics, hair products, chlorine, salt, or other evidence of wear or use.
    •  
  • Items identified as final sale at the time of purchase, except where applicable law requires a remedy.
    •  
  • Gift cards, if offered, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

These voluntary return exclusions do not eliminate any legal rights or remedies that may apply to products that arrive damaged, defective, materially misdescribed, or incorrect.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

If an order arrives damaged, appears defective, or contains the wrong item, contact Swim Hair LLC promptly and provide the order information and reasonable documentation of the issue. Photographs or other information may be requested when appropriate to evaluate the claim. Swim Hair LLC will provide an available remedy consistent with applicable law and the circumstances.

Return Authorization and Shipping

Customers should obtain return instructions before sending merchandise. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs for a voluntary change-of-mind return unless Swim Hair LLC states otherwise. If the return is caused by an error attributable to Swim Hair LLC, return shipping will be handled as stated in the return instructions and as required by applicable law.

Inspection of Returned Products

Returned products may be inspected before a refund is approved. A product that does not meet the stated return conditions may be denied a voluntary refund to the extent permitted by law. Swim Hair LLC may contact the customer if additional information is required.

Refund Method and Timing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method unless another method is required by law or agreed upon. After Swim Hair LLC processes a refund, banks, card issuers, and payment providers may require additional processing time before the credit appears.

Shipping Charges

Original shipping charges are not refundable for a voluntary change-of-mind return unless Swim Hair LLC expressly states otherwise. This does not apply where applicable law requires reimbursement or where the return results from an error for which Swim Hair LLC is responsible.

Promotional and Bundle Returns

If merchandise was purchased through a bundle, buy-more-save-more offer, free-item promotion, or similar promotion, all items associated with the promotion may need to be returned to receive the full promotional refund. If the customer keeps part of the promotional order, the refund may be recalculated based on the price or promotional terms applicable to the items retained, to the extent permitted by law.

Exchanges

If exchanges are offered, availability depends on current inventory. A requested color, style, or variation is not guaranteed to remain in stock. Swim Hair LLC may process an eligible exchange as a return and new order when operationally necessary.

Purchases from Other Sellers

Products purchased from an authorized or unauthorized third-party retailer, marketplace, or other seller are generally subject to that seller's return and refund process. Customers should contact the original seller regarding a return unless Swim Hair LLC expressly agrees to handle the matter directly or applicable law requires otherwise.

Chargebacks and Refund Requests

Customers are encouraged to contact Swim Hair LLC regarding an order or refund concern so the issue can be reviewed. Nothing in this policy restricts a customer's lawful rights with a payment provider or under applicable law.

30-Day Unworn Product Guarantee

Swim Hair LLC provides a 30-Day Unworn Product Guarantee for eligible Swim Hair Splash Caps purchased directly from Swim Hair LLC.

A customer may request a return within 30 calendar days after delivery if the Swim Hair Splash Cap has not been worn, used, cut, altered, washed, heat-styled, chemically treated, or used in water and remains in its original condition. The guarantee gives customers an opportunity to inspect the product after delivery. It is not a wear-and-try, cut-and-return, style-and-return, or swim-and-return guarantee.

For purposes of this guarantee, a product is considered used or altered if it has been worn beyond reasonable inspection, used for swimming or other water activity, washed, cut, trimmed, colored, heat-styled, chemically treated, braided or restyled, or otherwise handled in a manner that changes the product or leaves evidence of personal use.

Eligibility is measured from the delivery date shown by the carrier or other reasonable delivery record. Proof of purchase may be required. Returns remain subject to the Refund and Return Policy.

The 30-Day Unworn Product Guarantee is an additional voluntary policy offered by Swim Hair LLC. It does not reduce or replace any non-waivable right or remedy available under applicable consumer-protection law.

Website Guarantee Statement

Inspect it. Love the look. Make sure it is right for you. If your Swim Hair Splash Cap has not been worn, used, cut, styled, or otherwise altered, you may request a return within 30 days after delivery. The cap must remain unused, unaltered, and in its original condition. Because the Swim Hair Splash Cap is a wearable hair and swim product, worn, used, cut, heat-styled, or otherwise altered caps are not eligible for this voluntary guarantee.
